Spain Map

Spain is located on the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe and makes up about 80% (Portugal 20%). Northern Spain borders France and Andorra, and the Pyrenees are natural. In addition, the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza) along the Mediterranean coast, the Moroccan Canary Islands (near the Moroccan coast) along the Atlantic coast and Ceuta and Melilla in North Africa (Melilla) is Spanish territory. Spain is the third largest country and the fifth largest population in Europe. There are five large mountains in the country. The landforms are very different, some are almost desert-like, some are green and fertile, and of course there are long coastlines, from the Pyrenees to Gibraltar along the eastern Mediterranean and west (the main part of the west coast of the Iberian Peninsula occupied by Portugal) along the Atlantic Ocean and Cantabrian Sea.

Political Map of Spain

Spain is politically distributed into 17 independent societies and 2 independent cities. In addition to the self-governing regions, Spain is distributed into fifty countryside.

Travel Information Map

Tenerife may remind you of vacation packages and beaches, but these Canary Islands on the West African coast offer more. The lunar landscape and the volcanic peaks are exceptional. Alicante is Spain's main coastal destination. In the port city there is a lot of activity on urban beaches against the backdrop of the dramatic mountain Benacantil, a huge rocky peak, and on the top there is the Santa Barbara Castle. Spain's second largest city is eternally loved by tourists for its breathtaking Mediterranean location, iconic architecture and international atmosphere. Visit Gaudí in the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell and visit some of the lesser-known architectural works, such as Casa Batllo. Granada is as alive as a Disney fairy tale: it has breathtaking old forts, snow-capped peaks and winding cobblestone streets. The Alhambra is one of the most famous attractions in Spain for a reason. The Moore Palace is located high up in the city and is home to the best preserved Islamic art and architecture in the world.
