The highest point in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is the mountain. Stanley lies at 5,765 m, the lowest point in the country is the Atlantic Ocean (0 m). There are many lakes on the eastern border of the country, including Albert, Edward, Kivu, Mweru and Tananyika.
